Hello Mrs. Murray do Carmo’s D block class. I believe that this country can be changed for the better. I believe that even though democrats and republicans may have very different views politically, we can still come together as a country to face problems that we already have, and problems the may not have already occured. One problem our country has is that not everybody has enough money to support themselves or the positions they’re in. We need better paying jobs, jobs that wont send people in our own country home to have to wonder if they'll have to pay the bills or for food. We have many flaws in the way the government is run, but we can still fix them. We also need to confront global threats like isis, Kim Jong Un, or global warming. We need to stop major threats to the U.S. and other countries struggling with problems. Supporting our troops in time of war can be helpful toward accomplishing this goal, we could support our troops with parades for them or helping pay for their essentials like guns, food and water, and shelter. Soldiers march out everyday to fight for the things we value like our own food and land. We could take part in protecting our values by increasing security in schools and better learning programs, or we could build better facilities for our firefighter and police officers. Make America amazing again.

As Vice President I would restore economic fairness by trying to raise the minimum wage and try to create more jobs.I will help those who are working toward a path of financial stability and will put sustainable home ownership into the reach of more families. I will fight every effort to cut, privatize, or weaken Social Security, including attempts to raise the retirement age, diminish benefits by cutting cost-of-living adjustments, or reducing earned benefits. The Democratic Party will make it easier to start and grow a small business in America, unlike Donald Trump, who has often stiffed small businesses—nearly bankrupting some—with his deceptive and reckless corporate practices.
